For over 30 years, Christie served as Cove’s Business-Underwriting Specialist, Co-Owner, and Senior Advisor before her retirement in 2026. She brought deep insurance expertise to every file she touched, and her relationships with people across the industry, built on trust and a shared drive to get clients the best possible outcome, were part of what made Cove’s underwriting process work.
Christie was skilled at solving problems energetically: seeing both sides of an issue and bridging gaps between viewpoints to land on a solution that worked.
As one of Cove’s previous co-owners, Christie brought an extra level of commitment to the job. She and Bernie built a life together as a husband-and-wife team running the business, always focused on making the client experience second to none.
Clients could always count on Christie to have an answer, or to track one down if she didn’t. She reviewed and prepared every policy for delivery and followed up until she knew the job was done.
