A personal note about Christie Geiss’s retirement

Dear clients, partners, and suppliers,

I want to share some personal news. On August 1, 2026, my wife and partner in every sense, Christie Geiss, will be retiring from Cove Continuity Advisors after 30 years.

Christie joined Cove in 1996 and has served as our Business-Underwriting Specialist, as well as a Co-Owner and Senior Advisor. She brings decades of insurance experience to the underwriting process, and her well-established relationships with people at our insurance companies, built on trust and a shared commitment to getting the best results for our clients, have been invaluable. Her knowledge of simple and complex insurance risks has been second to none, and our clients, partners and team have benefited from it every day.

Christie’s unique ability is solving problems, seeing both sides of an issue and bridging gaps between viewpoints to reach a positive outcome. That skill, combined with a dogged, tenacious pursuit of the best outcome for every client, partner and team member, has shaped how we do business and helped build Cove’s culture as we grew.

As one of Cove’s owners, Christie brought an added level of commitment to her work. She and I have enjoyed running Cove together as a husband-and-wife owner and management team, always focused on making our clients’ experience second to none. I couldn’t have built this business without her.

The good news is that, from a professional perspective, her underwriting responsibilities are in good hands with Devin McKeigan, while her management responsibilities will be taken over by our business partner Warren Campbell. Our clients and partners can look forward to ongoing, excellent service in all aspects of our business operations.

Christie isn’t disappearing. She remains committed to Cove’s success and will be available at a moment’s notice if we need her. But she’s also earned some well-deserved time to enjoy life beyond the office, starting with a new e-mountain bike (a retirement gift) that she’s already planning to use exploring the trails around Squamish and abroad.

Our team is deeply grateful to Christie for everything she’s given to Cove, to our clients, and to our partners over the years. We hope you’ll join us in wishing her a very happy retirement. She will be missed.
