Ready to Clean Up, Canada?
We’re partnering with Ecojustice and 1% for the Planet to bring you the Clean Up Canada Fundraiser Campaign. Clean Up Canada is an awareness campaign and fundraiser, which aims to address the issue of climate harm caused by corporations in Canada and bring to light Ecojustice’s new corporate climate accountability legislation that’s being developed, which seeks to hold Canadian corporations accountable for their climate action.
The Path to Building a Cleaner Canada
Ecojustice helped table The Canadian Net-Zero Emissions Accountability Act (Bill C-12) in 2021, Canada’s first comprehensive climate governance system, which holds the federal government accountable for meeting emissions reduction targets and reaching net-zero by 2050. Now, they’re tackling climate accountability for corporations. With your help, we can ensure all sectors in Canada are held accountable for tackling climate change.
